Recent Highlights:
- Partnership with McKinley-Brighton School: The Joe Family Foundation recently sponsored an
advocacy workshop and a healthy cooking demonstration at McKinley-Brighton Elementary School's
Curriculum Night. We served over 150 participants, providing resources on advocating for
children, healthy cooking demos, nutrition education, Lead poisoning education, and a discussion
on building inclusive education for all individuals.
- Weekend Social Club: Coming in 2025, we are thrilled to announce the return of our weekend
social club, which has been a great success. The club provides young people with disabilities
the opportunity to network, and engage in games, art, and tutoring while learning vital life
skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Wellness Program Launch: Coming in 2025, we are excited to announce the relaunch of our wellness
initiatives. These programs are aimed at promoting physical, emotional, and mental well-being
for both our participants and their families. These initiatives will focus on fitness, mental
health support, and nutritional education, ensuring a holistic approach to the health of our
community.

new art therapy sessions under our "Healing Through Art's Therapy" program, designed to help
youth of color with disabilities process trauma in a supportive environment.
